Being a tourist in your own city can sometimes be cool, just be sure to do these five Seattle tourist attractions once and only once.

The Space Needle

On a perfectly clear Seattle day, the Space Needle has an incredible view of the city. With its 605 foot, 360 degree view there’s almost nothing you won’t be able to see. However with its overload of tourists it’s not worth the line or the money more than once.

The Great Wheel

If you’re dying to do the Great Wheel, be sure to make a night of it! The best view on this common attraction occurs after the suns gone down. Grab some friends, find a fun place for dinner and make it a memory worth keeping. Keep in mind the price at 14 dollars for one ride on the Great Wheel.

The Gum Wall

Oozing with color and germs, the Gum Wall is a definite must see. Nevertheless, once you’ve seen it, you’ve seen it. While there, take on the challenge of sticking gum on the wall with your tongue just to gross out your friends (and probably everyone else too)!

The Original Starbucks

The line at the Original Starbucks isn’t worth it. The coffee tastes the same there as it does at any of its half a million locations. Instead take a photo outside the shop and enjoy the rest of the quirkiness Pike Place has to offer.

The Fremont Troll

If you’re a fan of the film, 10 Things I Hate About You then the Fremont Troll is an obvious must see. Another great adventure to pile the car up with friends for a fun photo, the Troll is well worth seeing. However after you’ve been there once, you’ve been there enough.
