On Dec. 6, Northwest University Pres. Joseph Castleberry will be hosting a “Classy Christmas” party at his home near campus. The event is put on by the Student Activities Board. This is the first time the Castleberry’s have invited the student body as a group.

“Kathleen and I were thrilled about a chance to open our home to the entire community,” said Castleberry. “Hospitality has always been a top value for our family.  I hope this will become an annual tradition.”

The evening will feature an array of holiday happenings. There will be a giveaway, singing presented by members of NU’s Concert Choir and a Christmas reading by Castleberry. SAB will provide Christmas desserts, hot drinks and a photo booth.

“[The Castleberry’s] have been so gracious to open up their home as we celebrate this holiday season together,” said Larissa Leifer director of Student Life. “This is simply a come and go event for our students, but we encourage everyone to get classy and come celebrate this season together!”

The event will be held at the Castleberry’s home at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 5222 111th Ln NE in Kirkland.  This is a formal event. RSVP’s not required.
