Students filed complaints of seeing a suspicious person on campus by the student apartments.
Last Sunday at approximately 10:26 p.m., students reported seeing a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt peeking at them through their apartment window as they were watching a movie.
The incident has been reported to the Kirkland Police Department and the Northwest University Security Department. The NU Security Department has increased their patrols of the area.
An email from NU’s Security Director, Matthew Wilkinson, was sent to students and faculty to offer prevention tips for such incidents.
“Close and lock all windows. Draw all window coverings. Remain aware of your surroundings at all times. If you see someone or something that looks out of place, report it to the Security Department at (425) 864-1552, or to the Kirkland Police Department at 911,” Wilkinson said.
